The Elisabeth Hanson Papers, donated by Ardith Hanson in 2017, include a two-part oral history interview conducted in 2002 by Dr. Jane Samuelson. Elisabeth Hanson (1917-2016), an amateur local researcher, conducted research on the ecology, geography, and history of East Central Illinois and published a book on her research, "East Central Illinois: Exploring the Beginnings," in 2012.
