Radwine's family attended services at Temple B'rith Sholom in Springfield. After attending Hebrew Union College in Cinncinati, Rabbi Cantor Radwine served congregations in New Jersey, Connecticut, California, Arkansas, and Missouri. He has additionally taught at Hebrew Union College in Los Angeles and the Academy for Jewish Religion/California. In this interview, he discussed the Jewish communities of Taylorville, Springfield, Champaign-Urbana, and Decatur; his service as a rabbi cantor; and his experiences as a person who is gay and Jewish.
