About the Illinois Jewish Communities Oral History Project
About the Project
The Illinois Jewish Communities Oral History Project seeks to document the lives and experiences of Jewish community members in central Illinois. Narrators of particular interest are older adults who lived in the region’s small towns during the mid-to-late 20th century.
This project enhances the Central Illinois Jewish Communities Archives, a group of collections that document the history of Jewish communities in central Illinois housed at the Illinois History and Lincoln Collections at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Library.
