The President of the United States signed an anti-immigration bill to be implemented on July 1st.
Mr. Coolidge, the President of the United States, signed into law the immigration bill to be put into effect on July 1 of this year. He issued a written declaration stating, "The means taken by Congress to carry out the anti-Japanese policy are useless and regrettable." It is regrettable, and if this was just an anti-Japanese bill, it should have been rejected outright.
